If your run-of-the-mill pumpkin patch doesn’t do it for you anymore, this Snohomish farm’s Fall Festival is far from average. Bob’s encompasses three different pumpkin-filled fields, stretching across 40 acres of rolling hills. The 60 varying types of pumpkins growing around you are only part of the draw. Fall-themed foods, an apple cannon, rope maze, corn crib, and cow train are ready for mass enjoyment.

August 1–October 31

More than 20 acres of fields are spotted with everything from vivid orange gourd centerpieces to the perfect main ingredient for your pie recipe at Carpinito Brothers. After wandering through the many types of pumpkins in the U-pick field, greet animals, rope rodeo cows, and swim in corn at the enticingly named Farm Fun Yard. The corn mazes have creative new designs every year. 

September 29–October 31

A fall-themed photo shoot for your dog? Say no more. On select days, four-legged family members are welcome to join in the festivities at Craven (doggy Halloween costumes are highly recommended). Other times, this pumpkin patch with 41 years in the biz has an abundance of activities in which to take part, from the traditional to the very unconventional. Check the website for select late night hours as well.

Have you ever wondered what a structure with walls made of pumpkins would look like? Maybe not, but Fall City Farms has achieved the unthinkable for anyone who ever dreamed of such an architectural feat. With glistening tangerine orbs lining the walkways and freckling the grass, this farm is high on the list of picturesque fall destinations.

Knutson Farms is typically known for its rhubarb and flower production, but come fall, it’s the pumpkin’s time to shine. This working farm located in Sumner has been functioning for decades, and this year tricycle courses, farm animals, and hayrides await within.

Sure, you can trudge through mud in search of the perfect pumpkin, or ride a hay wagon and cheer on your favorite swine in the pig race. But if you’re someone who prefers to watch Scream over Hocus Pocus, Maris Farms' Haunted Woods is the answer. Without spoiling too much of the fun, just make sure you’re wearing something you can run in.

This family-run farm has been in the area since the late 1950s, letting its pumpkins flourish wherever they please without pesticides throughout the 30-acre field. Fitting for the name, plenty of vintage items such as trucks and various machinery have also found their way onto the lot to seal the deal on the old-school experience. Plus, you can go back for a Christmas tree in a couple months.

Last year, Remlinger Farms introduced its own brewery, which opened on weekends during the farm's Fall Harvest Festival. This year, look for Oktoberfest events on select weekends. Not to mention the 25-plus different activities, from pony rides to go-carts to a giant slide.

Pumpkins come in several varieties, shapes, and hues, and Serres Farm knows it. A small animal-themed train takes tots around the farm, but anyone can trot through the patch in search of the farm’s many variations. Bonus points if you can find the ones called “Warty Goblins.” There's a corn maze for good measure.

Tucked along the Snoqualmie River, this pumpkin patch is home to gourds of all varieties and hot spiced drinks. Pumpkin carving tool kits are also available to help you create that very distinguishable and definitely not disturbing depiction of Baby Yoda.

October 1–31

There are small rustic farms, and then there’s Stocker, with 30 different attractions for families: hayrides, a candy cannon, the bubble barn, a cow train, jumping pillows, a trike track, a zipline, and endless photo backdrops for ghoul-filled Instagram feeds. Fireworks happen every Saturday night in October.

Carts piled high with apples and other seasonal produce greet you even before you enter Swans Trail. That's the kind of farm this is, where separate areas accommodate kids activities, apple picking, cow train rides, and more. Don't miss the corn maze shaped like Washington state, the petting farm, and cider doughnuts.
